Former actor Raul Dillo had the opportunity to return to stage as he joined Team Vhong Navarro, Ion Perez, Darren Espanto, and Amy Perez’s (VIDA) performance for this year’s “Magpasikat” competition on “It’s Showtime.”
Dillo, known as “Higante” or “Pinoy Frankeinstein,” turned emotional as he thanked the “It’s Showtime” family for giving him a chance to again appear on stage.

“Since I lost my job, no one is hiring me anymore because it seems like my character is hard to find a slot, especially now most of the projects are dramas,” the actor told Ogie Diaz in an interview.

Last year, Dillo also made an appeal to actor-director Coco Martin to give him a job in “Batang Quiapo.”

For this year’s “Magpasikat,” the actor-basketball player joined Navarro as a Grim Reaper. They previously worked together in the 2001 film “Banyo Queen.”

In their performance, Team Vida highlighted the dynamics of life and death through a dark concept, giving out the message that “when death knocks on your door, you have the answer to the call.”
